What is RPG Free Format and how is it different from RPG/400?
RPG Free Format is the modern, free-form syntax of the RPG language on IBM i, written without the fixed column positions required by older RPG/400 (RPG III) code. It reads more like conventional programming languages and is easier to maintain, while working against the same DB2 for i database as legacy RPG.
